Technical support technician (Weekends)
Reporting to the Service Manager, the technical support technician takes calls from customers and helps them solve their problems, as appropriate. In the event of problems that cannot be resolved over the phone, he/she distributes service calls to roadside electricians or subcontractors.
Friday to Monday / Located in Baie-d'Urfé / 40 hours per week / Salary based on experience
Responsibilities
- Take service calls and assist customers across Quebec;
- Help customers resolve any technical issues raised by calls;
- Dispatch service calls to on-call technicians, if the problem raised by the customer cannot be resolved;
- Schedule weekend preventive maintenance and cleaning, and keep the maintenance list up to date.
Requirements
- DEP in a related field (an asset);
- At least 2 years' experience as a dispatcher;
- Strong technical and/or practical knowledge of mechanics, electricity, PLC programming or equivalent;
- Computer skills;
- Good knowledge of spoken and written French and English;
- Good customer service and work organization;
