Service Supervisor
Reporting to the Service Manager, the Supervisor organizes, controls and evaluates the operational activities, procedures and human and material resources of the TOMRA Canada service team. The incumbent manages the inventory of parts and supplies in service vehicles, as well as the application of service contracts for equipment in compliance with TOMRA's policy and service quality standards. He trains new installation and service technicians. He is responsible for keeping the sales force and the manufacturing and technical teams informed of customer problems and complaints.
Monday to Friday / Located in Baie-d'Urfé / 40 hours per week / Starting at $80,000.00 per year
Responsibilities
- Organize equipment service activities (preventive and corrective);
- Build a high-performance team capable of meeting expected performance requirements;
- Plan and allocate the work tasks of service technicians, organizing schedules according to customer expectations and requests, in collaboration with team leaders and dispatchers;
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors for the service;
- Improve service efficiency by ensuring that your team has all the resources they need to carry out their daily tasks;
- Master Canadian portfolio technologies and installation processes, with an understanding of industrial realities and specific market and customer needs.
Requirements
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in electromechanics, instrumentation and control or equivalent;
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a service technician supervisor;
- Knowledge of retail (an asset);
- Technical expertise in mechanics, electricity and PLC;
- Knowledge of MS Office;
- Customer service skills and ability to maintain good working relationships;
- Ability to manage and supervise a service on the road;
- Knowledge of English (spoken and written).
