Plant supervisor
Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, the Supervisor plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates projects leading up to the installation of TOMRA Canada technologies. He/she monitors project deadlines and coordinates the involvement of the various departments. He manages the installation team and ensures departmental performance.
Monday to Friday / Located in Baie-d'Urfé / 40 hours per week / Starting at $80,000.00 per year
Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate equipment installation activities to meet quality standards and deadlines, in collaboration with in-house teams.

Follow-up installation projects, including information gathering, detailed planning, monitoring deliverables and producing progress reports.

Manage and mobilize the installation team, fostering performance, skills development and commitment to the department's objectives.

Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders on project status and potential issues.

Participate in the continuous improvement of installation processes and the optimization of work methods.

Contribute to the budget management of the installation department, tracking project costs.

Apply occupational health and safety standards, both preventive and corrective, to ensure a safe environment.
- Support change management, helping teams to adopt new practices and anticipating resistance.
Requirements

Degree in electromechanics, mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance or equivalent.
- At least 5 years' experience supervising a team of electromechanics.
- Technical expertise in mechanics, electricity and PLC.
- Understanding of industrial safety standards and compliance procedures.
- Mastery of diagnostic and preventive/corrective maintenance tools.
- Customer service skills and ability to maintain good working relationships.
- Strong skills in planning, process structuring and team organization optimization
- Intermediate English (spoken and written) for effective communication internally and with our partners
