Dispatcher
Reporting to the Service Manager, the dispatcher takes calls from customers and helps them solve their problems, as required. He/she distributes service calls to roadside electricians or subcontractors.
11:00-11:30 a.m. to 8:00-8:30 p.m. / Telecommuting 4 days a week / Salary commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
- Respond to customers, provide first-level assistance and, where necessary, route requests to the appropriate technical staff;
- Assign calls to technicians using our geolocation system and, in the regions, coordinate with certified subcontractors by issuing purchase orders;
- Organize preventive maintenance and cleaning, keeping the task list up to date and effectively balancing emergencies with scheduled calls;
- Open, complete and close work orders, update customer information in the database, and follow up in our system (IFS).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience in a call center, dispatch and/or customer service role.
- Knowledge of service management systems, schedule optimization, efficient dispatching and inventory management (an asset).
- Technical and/or practical knowledge of electronics, electricity, PLC programming or equivalent (an asset).
- Knowledge of MS Office suite and dispatching software;
- Functional English (for communication with customers);
- Good geographical knowledge of the service area;
- Able to multitask, customer oriented, good listener, and good problem solver.
