Inventory Planner
Under the supervision of the Director of Planning and Supply Chain, the Inventory Planner is responsible for effectively planning material requirements to support production operations and customer service warehouses. He/she works in collaboration with the Procurement Manager to ensure proactive inventory management, coordinates with internal teams, and analyzes performance to anticipate supply risks. His/her role is essential to ensuring material availability while optimizing costs and inventory levels.
Monday to Friday / Located in Baie-d'Urfé / 37.5 hours per week / Salary based on experience
Responsibilities
- Plan parts and component requirements based on production forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels;
- Ensure parts availability while minimizing surpluses and shortages;
- Proactively manage inventory in collaboration with the warehouse and purchasing departments;
- Coordinate with internal teams (production, procurement, warehouse, manufacturing) to ensure a smooth flow of materials;
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning, inventory, and deliveries;
- Identify risks and propose solutions, while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.
Requirements
- DEC in logistics or university degree in operations management (logistics option, an asset);
- Minimum 2 years of experience in materials planning or inventory management, ideally in a manufacturing environment;
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel tools;
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
- French (fluent) and functional English for global internal communications.
