Material handler
The person is responsible for handling, moving, loading and unloading parts and supplies by hand or using various handling equipment.
Daytime schedule Monday to Friday / Located in Baie-d'Urfé / 40 hours per week / Salary based on experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare orders for parts and supplies according to internal and external needs;
- Assemble internal production orders and place products in inventory;
- Ensure optimal stock rotation and maintenance;
- Actively participate in inventory management and tracking of missing or misplaced equipment;
- Use lifting equipment to safely move, store and organize items;
- All other related tasks.
Requirements
- Completed high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience;
- Ability to work standing up for long periods and lift loads of up to 40 lbs;
- Proficiency inthe use of lifting equipment, particularly pallet trucks;
- Forklift license (an asset) ;
- Mechanical and/or industrial knowledge (an asset);
- Excellent priority management;
- Organizational skills, internal customer service orientation, autonomy and ability to work as part of a team.
