Data analysis student or trainee
We are looking for a student or trainee in data analysis for a 4-month contract. You will support our operations by extracting, cleansing and analyzing data from our ERP system. You will contribute to the creation of dynamic tools and dashboards to improve our understanding of our activities and support the optimization of our internal processes. Monday to Friday / Located in Baie-d'Urfé / 40 hours per week / Salary of $23/hour
Responsibilities
- Design and configure optimized Excel files, including standard fields (e.g. drop-down lists), to standardize data entry and simplify future analyses;
- Develop dynamic analysis tables to track key performance indicators linked to service calls, equipment and operational activities;
- Carry out in-depth analyses based on data extracted from the ERP system to identify recurring problems, pinpoint the equipment most in demand or malfunctioning, and propose concrete avenues for improvement;
- Process, organize and ensure the quality of data from service calls to guarantee their reliability and relevance for analysis purposes;
- Work closely with technical and operational teams to fully understand needs, adapt analysis tools and ensure the relevance of deliverables.
Requirements
- Current university education in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, statistics, information technology, administration, operations management, etc.), ideally with at least one year completed;
- Excellent command of Excel at intermediate level;
- Good analytical skills and rigor in handling and interpreting data;
- Ability to work independently in hybrid or remote mode (telecommuting available);
- Organizational skills, meticulousness and attention to detail.
