Configuration Management and Continuous Improvement Coordinator

 

In this role, you will serve as akey player in ensuring smooth collaboration between the operations, marketing, and center of excellence teams.

You are responsible for ensuring a smooth transition of projects into execution by maintaining the integrity of technical information, coordinating the various functions involved, and ensuring the quality of the information provided to the operational teams.

 

 

Monday to Friday / Located in Baie-d'Urfé / 37.5 hours per week / Starting at $75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Produce and review the layouts required for commercial projects, ensuring they comply with technical and operational requirements;
  • Create, maintain, and validate technical bills of materials (BOMs) while ensuring data quality and integrity in the ERP system;
  • Translate the requirements and specifications of sold projects into clear, actionable information for the procurement, manufacturing, engineering, installation, and service teams;
  • Serve as the primary point of integration between the Marketing teams, the Center of Excellence, and Operations to facilitate the coordination of activities and the flow of information;
  • Identify the operational impacts of new projects and product changes, and then coordinate the necessary actions to ensure their effective deployment;
  • Participate in the operational preparation of projects by ensuring that teams have the necessary information, tools, and documents before the projects are launched;
  • Map key operational processes and identify pain points, particularly at the interfaces between teams;
  • Collaborate with product experts to support knowledge transfer, ensure the quality of technical documentation, and facilitate the implementation of product changes within operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, operations management, or a related field;
  • A technical degree combined with relevant experience will be considered;
  • Training or knowledge in technical data management, bills of materials (BOM), or ERP systems (a plus).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment;
  • Experience in bill of materials (BOM) management, technical integration, industrialization, or operational preparation of projects;
  • Strong skills: attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical thinking, independence, and the ability to influence others;
  • BBilingualism in French and English required (functional English for professional communication).
