Mechanical assembler
Reporting to the production supervisor, the mechanical assembler assembles parts and subassemblies used in beverage container sorting and collection systems.
Monday through Friday, day shift / Located in Baie-d’Urfé / 40 hours per week / Salary between$21.00 and $25.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Read and understand plans and follow established procedures;
- Collect and assemble sub-assemblies according to specifications;
- Check assembly quality according to defined standards;
- Dismantle and ship equipment;
- All other related tasks.
Requirements
- Have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing workshop or manufacturing environment;
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (preferred);
- Strong technical and practical knowledge of mechanics;
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints;
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and cutting (a plus).
