Field logistics and distribution agent

Under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, the Logistics and Field Service Agent is responsible for managing the inventory of parts and supplies within the parameters established for the service team. He/she enters and updates data in the IFS system to ensure inventory accuracy. In addition to ensuring that parts are available and delivered efficiently to the various warehouses, he/she contributes to the smooth running of the service centers by ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. She participates in receiving and shipping activities, as well as in various plant support tasks.

Flexible daytime schedule / Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week / Salary between $25/hr and $30/hr

 

 Travel throughout Quebec for parts delivery and distribution.

 

Responsibilities

  • Track parts and supplies according to established parameters, and identify inventory discrepancies;
  • Carry out updates in the ERP system (IFS) to ensure the accuracy of inventory data;
  • Prepare, deliver and unload parts for field operations or depot centers across Quebec;
  • Check conformity and quality of parts during preparation and delivery;
  • Optimize logistics flows to reduce lead times and costs;
  • Organize storage areas to facilitate access, storage and inventory control;
  • Participate in related activities such as shipping, receiving, cycle counting and product inspection;
  • Maintain a safe work environment and apply current health and safety rules.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 4 years experience in logistics, delivery or parts handling in a manufacturing environment;
  • Knowledge or experience with an ERP system is an asset;
  • Valid driver's license (class 5 or class G mandatory);
  • Ability to lift and handle loads up to 30 kg (50 lb);
  • Fluency in French and functional English (required for internal and customer communications).
